— Those who want to celebrate Veterans Day this weekend will be able to visit
United States Military History Collection
at Willmar Stadsauditorium, 311 Sixth St. SW in Willmar.
More than 7,000 historic military items – from the Civil War to the present day – will be on display. Some stories and personal stories of individual veterans will also be featured.
The auditorium will be open for three days from 8am to 8pm starting on Saturday 9th November. A special Veterans Day program will begin at 7:30 p.m. on November 11.
Admission to the event is free, but donations are also accepted.
The annual display is organized by Willmarbon Jon Lindstrand, and has been ongoing
display in Willmar during Veterans Day for more than 25 years.
