Trader Joe’s shoppers ‘infuriated’ after chain discontinues ‘delicious’ winter treat – fans cry ‘feels like a backstab’

TRADER Joe’s shoppers have cried out after the abrupt removal of a beloved treat.

The food item became popular during the winter and hasn’t been seen by many at their local stores in the New Year.

The Four Cheese Pastry Rolls are now gone from most shelves[/caption]

It’s unclear if they’re seasonal, but the Four Cheese Pastry Rolls at Trader Joe’s are vanishing from shelves, and customers are not happy about it, per a recent post on Reddit.

“Have the cheese pastry rolls been discontinued????!!!!” someone asked in a fury.

Many weren’t sure if the Four Cheese Pastry Rolls were just being removed as the holiday season ended or if it was axed for good, never to return.

“I would ask in the store to see if they are totally discontinued or became seasonal,” a fellow Trader Joe’s customer suggested.

“It’s infuriating but FAR more products have become seasonal, and perish the thought we miss them.”

Whether temporary or permanent, several others were also distraught at the Four Cheese Pastry Rolls’ removal.

FOOD FALLOUT

“Dang these were our go to winter weekend treat during early lockdown,” someone wrote in the thread.

“They were yummy happiness.”

“I have been looking for these for months,” another added.

“I really hate when traders discontinues successful and delicious products. Feels like a backstab (yes, being dramatic).”

“Nooooo I loved these,” a third wrote.

Someone also claimed a Trader Joe’s employee at their store told them the Four Cheese Pantry Rolls were, in fact, discontinued.

The U.S. Sun has contacted Trader Joe’s for more information.

It would be the only fan-favorite item to be kicked out recently at the retailer.

Discontinued Trader Joe’s Products

Several Trader Joe’s items have been discontinued over the years, including:

  • Matcha Joe-Joe’s
  • Chile Lime Mayonnaise
  • Frozen Spinach Lasagna
  • Banana Waffles
  • Salted Caramel Gelato
  • Island Salsa
  • Cookie Butter Cheesecake
  • Chili Sesame Oil
  • Hi-Protein Veggie Burger

BYE BLINTZ

A popular breakfast staple, the Cheese Blintzes were discontinued at the end of December.

The cheese-filled crepes were incredibly popular, and some said they paired them with “strawberries and Truwhip whipped topping from Sprouts,” per a Facebook post.

While some weren’t sure if they were only temporarily removed, an employee at a Trader Joe’s store in Glendale, Arizona, told a shopper that the crepes were indeed gone for good.

“Another favorite product discontinued, not happy!” someone cried.

Trader Joe’s did bring back a favorite Christmas snack for customers this holiday season, however, at an affordable price of $2.69.

Some shoppers were also furious over their “experience” at the retailer recently and fumed that it was “going downhill.”
