A SUPER-THIN skyscraper, just one flat wide, will stand over one of the world’s most iconic cities.
The Muraba Veil is planned to be the latest elaborate addition to Dubai’s grand skyline standing at a huge 1,247 feet high, but the inside is set to be just as special as the exterior.

Despite its height, the building will only reach 74 feet across, which would make it the second-slimmest building in the world.
The building is set to be a high-end living complex for some of Dubai and the world’s uber-rich.
A mix of 131 luxury two to five-bedroom apartments will span across the skyscraper’s 71 stories.
The project’s developers, Muraba, revealed that each flat will span across an entire floor of the building.
These opulent living spaces will come with equally fancy amenities.
They are set to include a spa, restaurant, gallery, and private cinema.
The designers revealed the blueprint for the highrise was inspired by traditional Arabian houses which have inner courtyards.
This highrise will introduce an urban oasis into the desert city by including palm trees and stunning vines throughout the space.
The luxury experience offered will not stop at these amenities as some flats could even have indoor pools looking out onto the rest of Dubai.
The founder of the architect company behind these elaborate designers, Rafael Aranda, founder of RCR Arquitectes, shared some of the thoughts behind the grand plans.
“We are passionate about ensuring our buildings are responsive to the place, that they belong to the site and the native landscape where they are situated,” Aranda said.
“They must communicate with nature and be infused with the atmosphere of the local culture.”
Despite its size, this building will only be the second thinnest in the world, behind the Steinway Tower in New York City which is just 60 feet wide.
Prices for these flats won’t be cheap as they are set to start at an eye-watering £3.7 million.
Dubai has not been a stranger to unique skyscrapers as it is the city with the fourth-highest number of high-rises in the world.
In fact, this Emirati city has the most towers measuring over 984 feet and is home to the world’s tallest building the Burj Khalifa.
STANDING TALL
This building has not been the only recent extraordinary high-rise design.
The Burj Khalifa could be overtaken as the tallest building in the world by a “giant battery.”
This potential skyscraper would be used to produce and store electricity by lifting giant blocks into the air and dropping them.
