AFTER the Los Angeles Dodgers brought out Ice Cube ahead of their World Series matchup in Game 2, the New York Yankees attempted to counter with their own performance.
It appears they slightly missed the mark though, as MLB fans weren’t thrilled with the Yankees bringing out Fat Joe for a show.

The 54-year-old rapper delivered a pregame performance in the Bronx but was flamed on social media for his gig.
He walked around the diamond and played a mashup of songs while ad-libbing many lines over the course of four minutes.
Fans were quick to share their dismay with the performance and suggested other artists who could’ve done better.
“They couldn’t even get 50 cent to represent NY ?! Go LA,” one fan said.
“They brought out Fat Joe like he somebody. Wake me up when WuTang Clan steps on the mound,” another fan said.
“I mean. I’m rooting for NY But they don’t have enough to go toe to toe with LA artist,” a third fan said.
“I like Fat Joe, but this is a Fat No for me,” a fourth fan said.
“Next level cringe,” a fifth fan said.
One fan pointed out that the last time the Yankees made the World Series they had Jay Z and Alicia Keys perform Empire State of Mind, a much more well-received performance than Fat Joe.
The Yankees are going to bring out the big guns for Game 4 to try giving their team and fans some energy, as it is looking grim.
The Dodgers already hold a 3-0 series lead which is significant in baseball.
No team has ever come back to win from down 0-3 in the World Series.
The Yankees will do their best to rewrite history, but it isn’t looking great for them.
The entire lineup isn’t looking great, but fingers can easily be pointed at Aaron Judge as the most underwhelming performer.
Judge had a spectacular regular season that will likely win him the MVP after the season ends.

He hit .322 with 58 home runs, 144 RBI, and 122 runs scored combining in a 1.159 OPS.
It was by far the best season in baseball this year, but his numbers have not translated into the playoffs.
Throughout this postseason run, Judge has played in 12 games and is hitting .140 with just two home runs and six RBI.
Judge has just one hit in the World Series, coming in the form of a single in game one.
There are plenty of other names not pulling their weight for the Yankees, but they will need Judge the most to try to make a comeback.
