11 Things to do in Bangkok this weekend (December 27 to January 2)
New Year Celebrations at Siam Yacht Club
Date & Time: Tuesday, December 31, from 7pm to 1am
Location: Siam Yacht Club, Royal Orchid Sheraton, 2 Charoen Krung Road Siphya, Bang Rak, Bangkok 10500
Price: 22,232 baht net per person
Sitting pretty above the Chao Phraya River, Siam Yacht Club is hands down one of the best places to ring in the new year in Bangkok. The views? Stunning. Fireworks? Front-row seat. The food? Delicious. And the vibe? Pure style, with DJs, live music, and all the free-flow drinks you can handle
The centrepiece of the evening is a premium buffet that’s as indulgent as it gets. Start with caviar, fresh oysters on ice, and Boston lobster served with all the trimmings. Then, head to the live stations where foie gras is pan-seared to perfection, sashimi is sliced fresh, and Wagyu beef is cooked just the way you like it.
Don’t sleep on the carving station as well. Salted baked Norwegian salmon, roasted prime rib, and Wagyu beef Wellington are all part of the line-up. And if you’re feeling fancy, the linguine with truffle cream from the live pasta station might just be your favourite bite of the night.
Desserts are all delightful that even if you’re full, you’ll want to make room. They’ve got everything from mango sticky rice and tiramisu to gelato and sorbets in flavours like pistachio and raspberry.
With limited seats available, you’ll need to act fast. Reserve your table today.
