The fire, continued to blaze throughout the night and into the early hours of Wednesday, resulting in the destruction of market stalls and merchandise.

The catastrophic fire has left hundreds of traders reeling from substantial losses, amounting to tens of thousands of dollars, and has shattered livelihoods.

In the aftermath, broken pottery, charred bags of sugar beans, remnants of kapenta fish, and fragments of solar panels were left scattered among the ruins.

The exact cause of the fire remains unknown, and investigations into the inferno are still ongoing.

The latest fire has sparked concern and worry among Zimbabweans. Some netizens have questioned why there seem to be so many fire incidents all of a sudden. This has raised suspicions and led many to speculate that there might be an arsonist starting the fires
